Chiang Mai is one of our favorite cities in Asia: there have been few times we have dreamed of moving to live there for a while.

The reasons are simple: good weather, cheap prices, good internet connection, tasty cuisine, nearby getaways to disconnect and ... good, beautiful and cheap hotel rooms!

As are more and more mails where you ask us advice on where to sleep in Chiang Mai, we have prepared a list with 2 hostels (room in shared dormitory) that cost about 3-4 € and 2 hotels where you can get double rooms for about € 10 (the hotels have a swimming pool! That with the Thai warmth… it always comes in handy).

Clarification: At no time are we going to tell you that these are the best hotels in Chiang Mai, simply considering price / location / services are the ones that seem best in relation to quality and price!

@Box Hostel

The best without a doubt, although it is somewhat more expensive than the rest, you will have very comfortable rooms and common areas and very modern facilities. Ah! And it has a small pool!
